Highway 14 Litter Pickup
Keep Washington Clean & Green is coordinating a large-scale litter pick-up project on Hwy. 14 starting at 9 AM and going, hopefully, until noon or so. Easy to do, but takes lots of hands.
If you have a couple of hours to spare, or if you can help coordinate some co-workers, service club members, church members, scouts, etc. it would be VERY helpful. I have a small stretch from 164th to 192nd Avenue that is not yet assigned, and also a longer stretch from 164th - Evergreen Blvd. (can be broken into 2 sections) that is not claimed.
Volunteers need to be at least 16. We have a short training session this Friday evening at 5:30 at the C-Tran Transit Center at Hwy. 14 / 164th Ave.
Not everyone has to attend the Friday training, but anyone being a team leader for an area must attend it. Registration on Saturday starts at the C-Tran Center at 8 AM. Safety vests, bags, etc. are all provided.
It is a very easy project, but, again, just takes hands.
